A cutting-edge Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) project, centered around an Autostore solution, was implemented for Stellantis to dramatically enhance their parts management and operational logistics. The system boasts a high-density storage capacity with 70,600 bins, accessed via nine ergonomic operator ports for efficient picking and replenishment. The installation included a primary service platform and two additional platforms to support system operations and maintenance. A fleet of 40 robots navigates the grid to retrieve and deliver bins, ensuring rapid order fulfillment. To guarantee structural integrity and operational safety, particularly in seismically sensitive areas, eight seismic towers were integrated into the ASRS framework. This advanced ASRS installation provides Stellantis with a highly efficient, space-saving, and robust automated inventory management system.
